when i start up the game and get to the launch button on the loader i get the following error in my antivirus program pops up with the following error.
Hawken QA Launcher 1.0 HawkenGame-Win32-Shipping.exe Detected: not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.Bromngr.a 11/23/2012 2:36:37 AM
even if i add it to exceptions the game never starts no mater how many times i pull up the launcher and click launch.

Kaspersky is causing grief for a lot people. Personally I don't like Kaspersky as i find it can be far to aggressive by nature and don't recommend using it.
Something simple and effective like MSE will always be recommended by me.

You can keep Kaspersky but your gonna have to add the hawken-shipping executable and launcher executable to the exception list then re-install the game.
