I think this thread might be a good start point for new pilots. Its content may be of help for many new members. Can it be improved_ Yes. But I think that it deserves credit and should be positively pinned up.

This awesome guide and Saturn's class guide need to go somewhere special, like a subforum for strategy and tactics. Somehow I've never seen this gold mine before. A centralized place for this kind of stuff would be totally awesome.

We also need to figure out how to set up some sort of system where the older more experienced players help out the newbies. A good chunk of players want more player interaction. The no pressure arena finally is here, but that's not going to teach all the essential skills a newbie needs to not get eaten alive.

It's not only for beginner players. I've seen many higher level players making same basic mistakes. I don't know if it's the fault of tutorials or just people don't want to do their part on the team.

woh yeah: me! And mostly of all kiddies, don't Drink and Drive.
Drunk driving your tank is ok, if you have a smurf/party account that you don't mind trashing your MMR on...but if you wanna bang the ranks here, don't Tank Under the Influence!
My 1230 MMR notwithstanding ;)
