So I've still got a rocketeer in my garage that I can't play or get rid of from the free trial. It's not particularly problematic at the moment but if the plan is to add more mechs as time goes on this could severely clutter someone's garage with mechs they can't even play

Same problem here. Nothing serious, just mildly annoying to see all the time

I think this is intentional. You have leveled it up and such; it just stays there until you actually buy it (and so it keeps your progress).

This is more of a "what do we do in the long run" thing
If Adhesive/Meteor wants to keep adding more mechs to the mix, then your Free Trial/Rented (if they include that option) mechs will just keep cluttering up your garage more and more
Heck, I'm already wondering if a better organized garage system is needed even WITHOUT that issue
