'Scape, European Captain of the Soul Drinkers here.
The Soul Drinkers are a gaming community based around a clan (or "Chapter") formed within the game Space Marine on the PS3 system. We have been around for a year and consist mainly of players the age of 20-40, with mixed nationalities from all over the globe, although mainly in the US and Europe.
We are competitive and have more or less dominated the Space Marine Multiplayer competitions ever since we formed. We have a homepage and while focused on Space Marine I can easily implement separate forums and functions around an eventual HAWKEN squad, should we decide to invest time and effort into the game to justify the effort and expand further through recruitment.
We are looking to get a handful of our current members into HAWKEN and will pick up more players from within the game. Above all we value respect for our adversaries in amounts matching that shown to our fellow Soul Drinkers, an eagerness to learn more about the game and a will to cooperate and rely on tactics and communication through microphones.
We are in no way elitists but always strive to improve and enrich the community for whatever game we put our focus upon.
We will consider applications but with how young the game is (well unborn, to be frank) we think it's best to just recruit people we end up meeting in lobbies and feel we work well with, so this thread serves more as an introduction rather than advertisement, for now.
We are in no way good at this game just yet, but a lot of the elements of three-dimensional combat, strategical positioning and sound tactics through teamwork are right up our alley and we do better by the end of each day played.
