I keep reading good opinions about Mechwarriors 4 Free in this forum, and I have decided to give it a taste.
Problem comes when I can't find the download anywhere, their official website provides one here: http://www.mektek.ne...4/download.html , but it seems to be dead.

I'd appreciate any help here

Yeah, do it, otherwise itll think the bit that edits MTQShell.dll is a virus making the copy unplayable, meaning you have to re patch all they way from where you first downloaded.


Also, there should be a direct download of the laterst version (which some mainstream developers dont seam to have gotten to grips with yet either) So use that instead of patching lol.

Yeah, I'm having a checksum err_ whilst patching the game. Hope that the reason/s of that is what you mentioned above.

What's the proper procedure then_ -> To uninstall and reinstalling everything from scratch the stuff man (and woman.. ) can download from the second link you guys have posted on here_

I'm low on spare time lately so I'm not gonna put much time into this game.. at least for the moment.
