After attempting to hit "Launch" from the launcher, the game immediately crashes and gives me a dialog box error (Screenshot attached).  I should note that the game used to work, but I have not tested the game in a while, I come back, I patch for a bit, and this is the result.  I should also note, this is the only game this error happens with.

What is it_  How do I fix it_

Nevermind, I found the solution.  Apparently, some games don't like it when I have a controller plugged in when they start.  Unplugging the controller fixed the problem.  I'll have to remember to keep it unplugged for games I don't plan on using it for.

Note I have a 2 way SLI with my 2 600 dollar GPUs and a AMD Vishera overclocked so it isn't lack of power behind it. yes i have a motherboard that can take that

Hi there, i have the same problem. I want to play Hawken on my Genius Maxfire Bleze 3 pad controller, when i have the controller pluged in USB the game crashes on startup. Anyone helps_

i had the same problem with the difference that in the beginning it says "are you sure your video card can support this game"(or something with that meaning) and once i fixed it by re-installing the game and then restarting the PC

but my real solution was removing the case's side panel for better cooling of my video card

edit: my PC can handle the game

If i want to start the game the it crash too but i have no atoher controller i play with the keyboard

i'm having sort like errorcodes ,  i even reinstalled windows and everything.
i've been playing the game before though , with no problems .
max details @ 3840x1024 resolution on my 3 screens....
now the game just crashes after the login box appears
i just dont get it why

I was having a similar problem, but I just used raptr to optimize it and then it worked. I certainly recommend downloading raptr
