Hmm, looks ok to me lol
Its weird, if i move it directly up or down in the scene it always looks (to me) like its touching the floor. It was proper bodge job though, the perspective isnt right at all really. The ground in the video is huge and not flat so i just had to get the ground in Blender (which is tottaly flat) to match as close as possible.

That mech tutorial i found was very helpful - theres no way id have been able to make one just by trial and error, i would have given up ages ago. The version he was using is 3 years old so i had to watch and read loads of tutorials to figure out how to do things. Weird theres only one mech tutorial for Blender so far as i could tell, i thought thered be a few.
