s there any plan to save your matches played in Hawken_ I was thinking it could work much like Halo: Reach's theater system where each game is saved into a temporary folder in order to view, save, and edit footage. Not only is it a great way to experience matches again and perfect your skills, it's perfect for making montages and putting clips up on the web.

If this game is to attract the competitive crowd, it needs this featuer. Maybe not at launch, but quickly.

Yes, indeed.

Although not a priority at this moment, IMHO.

That's fair, it definitely wouldn't be something to prioritize in the development of the game, but I think it's pretty crucial to have at some point in the life of Hawken. I'd imagine saved matches, map editors and other secondary features will probably be offered in time.

Indeed.

That would be cool for tournaments and so forth.. as well as for private or publically discussed replays. Amongst many other cases.

Would it be nice_ Hellz yeah.

Would it be hard to implement_ Maybe... but it also may not be it depends on how you want it implemented. Client records match, easy enough. Server records all the matches all the time and allows players to grab that replay, maybe not so easy or practical at this point.

Would it be a priority at this point_ No, i think i could wait on a feature like this, they need to focus on slightly more important things like... oh maybe... the game_

Do i always answer my own questions_ Sometimes  :D

If serious competitive play is intended for Hawken it would certainly be a great feature to have, but at the end of the day the community will make-do with whatever it can get. Be it Fraps-style footage, streams, VoDs or whatever. If it gets implemented it will most certainly be used, but if it's not there are still other ways. Heck, League of Legends still has a fan-made replay tool, even with limited functionality it gets plenty of use.

I for one would love a replay/playback feature. I'd be all over that stuff, having a blast making videos showing-off how awesome Hawken can be :D

But I guess we gotta play the game before we can even think about re-plays.

A dump for screen shots and vids would be nice, if not available on launch sometime soon would be great.

I vote "yes" for reasons already mentioned: a very recommended feature for competitive play, and generally all-around neat to have just to look back on and for streamers/potential casters.
