Anyway the grenadier is gonna be nerf with the next patch.
Personnaly i find it is really a great mech. But depending of the map and of the team you have.
An open map like bazaar with a team which doesn't stay together and this mech is to slow to avoid the death from a close ranged mech, with a skilled player inside (of course).
The "flying mech" are also something difficult for the grenadier which is not equiped with a direct fire arm (only the Vulcan, and so many people are telling this weapon sucks and i have never seen a grenadier with it).
Maybe the problem is that the grenadier begin his carrer with the REV-GL, and that the other weapons you can unlock seems to be useless compared to this ( i must admit ) great and fun weapon.

And please don't be too angry when you'll reply to my thread, i am just a pacifist who loves throwring grenades in all direction.

Flying mechs are the easiest targets in the game next to mechs standing still, you really shouldn't be thwarted by them

I hope you Gren haters are happy, the gren completely sucks now. Rate of fire is fuzzy bunny. I doubt anyone will play the class anymore

They never touched the rate of fire, only the damage o.O

What's funny is that only the damage got nerfed, and the stunlock still exists in lesser form

I played this morning with grenadier, and find it is always a good mech.

And yeah, i think the grenadier AT LEAST needs a slower firing rate on it's first primary, I haven't seen any of it's other potential primaries (in use)...

So perhaps those other two weapons fail in comparison. I fought a level 22 grenadier with my 22 infiltrator once, he was top of the deathmatch and I was second, if my infiltrator couldn't kill him I doubted my 14 brawler, 13 rocketeer and most defiantly my 12 reaper could.

It left like I was trying to play a snow ball game, ON THE SURFACE OF THE SUN.

Also it's difficulty doesn't match it's difficulty bar in the slightest, just kinda know what way ther are and hold down the left mouse key/button.
