Good observation. That's actually pretty fishy.

Seems like Cuda to me considering the scores are on par with the other GPU test scores, but that wouldn't be considered a pure CPU test anymore.

its because CPU's aren't designed to do physics simulation ...CPU's aren't as parallel as a GPU which has many times more cores running. So when you simulate physics on a CPU, there are some performance issues

No the problem he pointed out was that while most Intel CPUs get high scores on the physics test (sometimes on par with the GPU tests) I don't think I've seen an AMD CPU beat 200 on the Physics test. Hell his 8350 only got 179 while a 3570K awhile back got 1147.

oh okies. Could be some optimisations for intel then_ bit of a strange result
