For some reason, I don't get any email notifications. My email addy is correct, the website settings are correct, people are responding to my thread... and I just don't get any email notification.

And by website settings, you mean that you've made sure that the first of the two email permission checkboxes on this page are checked, right_

That link points to a page with checkboxes about Meteor and their partners. I do not want to be contacted about that, no offense. :-)

Here I checked EMAIL for:

1, Notification method to use for replies to followed topics
2, Notification method to use for topics in followed forums

and also checked the "Auto follow topics I reply to. Notification frequency" with the setting "IMMEDIATE".

Anything else needed to make it work _

Try checking that first one. I mention that because people who didn't have it checked didn't receive an email with a free HC code, for example. Yes, promotional mail from Meteor should be completely separate from the forum's notification mailserver, but, this is for testing. (If it turns out that the forum does obey the promotional mail settings, then it either needs to be clarified that this is legally how it has to be, OR it needs to be fixed so that the two are separate because that's not appropriate unless it's mandatory.)

Also, here comes the obvious one: Make sure you check your spambox. Also, make sure

If it's still not working, what domain's your email with_ (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, your ISP's included email address, etc.)

Maybe there's some glitch in the forum's emailing system.

Elix, please accept my sincerest apologies, as it turns out, the emails are coming through alright, it's just that the Gmail app on my phone doesn't feel like downloading them for some reason. It's really weird. I can send myself an email from another email and it arrives to my phone, but nothing from Hawken.

I figured it had to be something with the mail system.

If you're using Android, try going into Settings > Apps > Gmail and hitting "clear cache". See if that gets it to behave.

Yep I followed the instructions here (https://support.goog...0727&page=ts.cs) and the step "Clear your device's Gmail application data" did it.
