Looks like it has a new primary AND special weapon. I wonder if whatever that is on it's right arm will be given to any of the other existing mechs so we finally have something to break up the TOW/GL monotony_

It makes sense from a business standpoint to allow free test drives on older, less popular models that aren't provided the benefit of the short-lived popularity a hyped release provides.

There are good odds you'll have to pay to ride this wild Beastie.

A hyped release should allow two older and the newest mechs to be test driven, it kinda stems the, "Hey guys, I just bought this mech with my hard-earned, now watch as I pound you into the dirt," followed by, "Why did I buy this thing_"

I'm pretty sure the weapons won't be THAT different from what we've already got guys. They're probably based in large part on what we already have, but I wouldn't be surprised if the way they worked and performed was a far sight from what we have available currently.

What I'm really hoping for is some of these weapons moving to currently existing mechs so there's more variety rather than a bunch of classes all having TOW/Flak/AR or whatever.

since i like to get up close and personal with my assault and vulcan equipped (use cooldown ability) this is a step up. i say if it does have a melee weapon, uptown and that one small map (always forget the name) will be its hunting ground.

imagine this: optimized for increased walk speed and armor coming around a corner not being picked up by the standard radar, you dont stand a chance if it quickly invades your personal space and slashes or pound you armor to dust only to use your charge to quickly recover some armor and move on to its next victim.
