Also, is the MIRV a MIRV as in does it split into multiple munitions for a cluster explosion_ Or is it just a short ranged airbursting rocket_

I can't imagine how horrible the AA will be now, with the Raider bouncing ReFlak all over inside. Meanwhile a Grenadier fills the place with RevGL.

The best part of this Mech is that he clearly has a future in food service, should he prove unsuccessful in the battlefield.

This mech shadows the Brawler in my opinion. The Brawler should have a change in weapons. (I just want the Raider's flak on my Brawler :P)

Yup, its essentially a giant shotgun that shoots bombs, but it has really really short range in the MIRV mode.

I'd be fine with adding some weapons to Brawler to increase diversity.

But please leave the normal flak on it no matter what you do! I can rock out with the Brawler, but I simply can't use Raider as well as I would like - removing flak would be... bad, methinks.

Harass mans with RPG while pelting with shotgun, they get low, wait for them to go repair, hit F, switch to grenade shotgun mode, chase them into their home and kill them while they're eating dinner

make sure to be illegally downloading something

you are now a pirate.

played a couple matches on the new map and I must say: I like the map. this map also showed a unbalance in the mechs because of adding the Raider. a shotgun is a shortrange weapon, but the raider also does a lot of damage in midrange and that makes this mech outbalanced.
The granades to also give a bit to much manage damage. with 2 you are somewhat dead as a B class mech. even if they dont land on you but some distance. with 3 you are dead. and then not even including the damage the Raider does on midrange.
I hope this will be adjusted for it removes the fine balance the game had.

I seriously want to know who of the Devs is responsible for the standard item selections; this thing + Emp is one hell of an unholy alliance.
I love the Raider, but an EMP on this thing just seems like stacking even more short range griefing power onto an already borderline OP Mech.

I get the feeling that the Raider is going to be hit with so many nerf bats after this...

Let's just hope it isn't nerfed into high oblivion, like the Seeker at the start of Open Beta.
