Greetings everyone!

This isn't serious at all, actually. But if I got your attention, then YAY FOR ME!

Somehow, I've not seen anything about Hawken until today when I saw an article about it on MMORPG.com. I'm a ***frikkin huge*** mech fan. I've been playing Battletech PnP since forever (yeah I'm an old fart), and I love mech games.

MWO is fantastic and I'm sure it will gain a good following, but I really like what Hawken is doing to seperate itself from other simulation-type mech games. I'm hoping Hawken will draw in more new gamers, whereas I see MWO drawing in long-time fans but not having quite the same appeal to new gamers due to the learning curve.

Here's to hoping I get an alpha or beta invite. I'd love to help shape this game between now and release. Either way, I look forward to dying by your hand, and killing you in return!
