It's basically a DUAL WIELDING shot gun class, but no-one else can dual wield.

They have more HP than lights. DO insane dps, and also when used in gangs are unstoppable.

Just had a match of siege where it was 3000/0 hp loss. It was a struggle just to kill one of them.

My solution_ make other classes able to dual wield and then it's not just the Raider that can effectively do it.
Maybe you want to sell mechs, but not giving people two right-arm-choices is silly.
Having one choice only feels like im piloting a tow-launcher with a mech attached.

Bring on the trolls to play devils advocate with the absurdity that is the op'ness of the Raider.

Akrium, how can a scout reliably fight a raider_ Equal pilots have no hope, it can't even run away with its special ability vs the raider special ability .The raider is faster, has more health, and more dps. and the switch gives it more choices.

It's like you guys don't think we are in beta and begin with a series of meaningless personal attacks. Give it a few more views and the animated gif's will come along.

Odin, no, Balance can be a subtle as a one hp, or a 1% of a stat (e.g. starcraft unit's being balanced to the finest points). the raider isn't even close to that kind of balance.

I kill Raiders in my Scout all the time. Your "facts" are invalid.

ay the same here the raider is sweet but yeah it oute does so may of the other mechs  by being faster than most more agile than most and holding the curent best burst dmg sweet mech that just came oute so itt will hpefully be patched in not too long  

meaning is that curently it has only one role in the game  ASS KICKER  i like doing so  but in this kind of game it realy neads a fix

oh btw  yes i am a newb YAYE!  but i dont have problems killing them does this make the points invalid nooooooo it means that hell i get lucky
and that they are MORTAL ..... no vampires here    but they fill so many roles  and that is bad for a game like this
agreeed i say this hald due they killing me 50% of the time and half due me wanting better balanse for the mechs  to make a better game
i am not saying all should have 2 of the same weps but that buffs be made to others or similar   allso take the time to type better solusions or ideas  as we all do this to improve the game.right..right _

I think that this thread should end here as the OP generally starts unproductive arguments, and one person posting a bunch of numbers that are barely relevant doesn't really help either.  There are already enough raider threads and we don't need more.

Any amount of videos posted are just anecdotal evidence and there for cant be used for acctual research.  You need to get the W/L ratios of each mech match up since the raider patch over at least a month.
