UPDATE: The rolling restarts are now slated to be completed by 6:00 PM PDT.

Attention, pilots!

The HAWKEN servers will undergo rolling restarts at 2:00 PM PDT (GMT-7) on March 20 to address the server stability issues that players are experiencing. Each server will be unavailable for a very short period while the fix is applied. In order to allow for more overall uptime, we'll be bringing down servers per region and per game type. The rolling restarts will be completed within three hours.

Thanks for your understanding!

Defraging in general is already done by the os when saving files. As well, there isn't really a need to defrag and SSD as the defraging process was intended to make the heads of the hard drive not have to travel as far. Since SSD's don't have moving components, defraging is pointless.

:P Sorry, I have to correct these things. It bugs me when people say things wrong. :P

(also, to my knowledge, most server racks still use spinning disk hhd's due to the cost factor, I could be wrong though, but ssd's are just to expensive per gb. With that said, that does mean that defraging could do some good, though, as stated, most oses do well enough on their own now you don't have to defrag.)

Sometimes i degrag the 2 I own, obviously after doing a clean space erasing to ensure all clusters are set free, to have a contiguos and homogeneous array of all files and file system with no gaps between free space and used clusters.

Yep, but i doubt it will fix my strange ping on UK facility and other 24 players". Are these really on UK_ I have ~50ms on UK. 250 on all facility or mayhem.

It comes in handy whatever server stability is better.

33% server blocked me because im a little higher than skill +250. (hurts especially for low saturated siege)
from that rest, 33% are full or empty.
from that rest, 33% are facility or mayhem (ping +250ms)

If i find a server that is playable at all it's mostly not the game-type i like to play or it has a quite higher rating.

BUT yes i definetly had a lot of kicks, "meteor not reachable" and game crashes lately... so THX.

P.S.: If you might tell my my connection is to low, that'S not correct. It's a very fast cable-connection 100Mbit download / 5Mbit Upload and usually low pings.

Nice and gentle way to do it. Thank you, HWK team.
