Watch the first installment of two new mech-centric video series: Mech Showcase and Strategy & Tactics! The Mech Showcase series will be a high-level overview of the mech narrated by a soothing computer-generated voice while the Strategy & Tactics series goes into depth on the loadout and provides insights into how to optimize your gameplay with the mech as narrated by a member of Team HAWKEN.

These are just the first installments of each series and we will continue to make them for all mechs in the game, new and existing. Please provide your feedback on them!

Need to point out that the RPR is inferior to the AM-SAR in every way. It generates more heat, is less accurate over a longer range, and offers less damage output. If you want to reinforce the idea that the RPR is better close up, perhaps you need to increase the DPS a little and reduce the AM-SAR's DPS. Otherwise, the AM-SAR outperforms it at ALL ranges.

The first video seems more like a fluff piece. The second one is much more informative. It seems a lot like the champion spotlight from lol. It needs to mention that the am sar gets a huge damage boost while scoped.

It doesn't. It has been tested, and it dealt 30 damage per shot both unscoped as well as scoped. The scope only seems to affect the KE-Sabot.

I like the videos, but I feel there should be more movement(very little evasive dashes) in the fights. I understand this video is acting as a sort of instructional tutorial or glimpse at a mech, but most pilots will not be quite as still. You do provide a nice explanation of the mech and its play-style though. Overall great video, but room for improvement.

I also find it puzzling that in both of the videos the film grain is off, but in the actual game you can't turn off the grain. The result is the videos would like they are in HD, but the actual game looks like SD.

Awesome material. I like this initiative!

These videos should be included in the game in their own tab. :)

Awesome looking videos ! Can't wait to see more !
I really like the UI (random flying hot-spot, graphs,etc..Iron-Man Style ) used in the "garage part" would love to see them used in the actual in-game garage or HUD_ :P

Smooth transition when "loading/swapping" mechs :

Maybe one day we will see this menu for mech.

IMO uniformity of, pages, forum, launcher, I do not mind, but why in the game menu uses the same design as website, forum and launcher. In the game menu, we spend a lot of time, and  I wish that it would not be the next incarnation of the website. From the moment you press launch in launcher, You should immediately feel that you are playing Hawken, and not constantly reading, watching website and forum.

Besides, all movies should be found in the menu of the game, in the mech store and garage. Hawken could use some showroom, with the possibility of watching mech from every angle, like this one:

Posted Image
In showroom,we would have complete control over the camera, zoom, voice describing the mech, full statistics etc.
