The alien shoots the balloons before they get to it. Then the Helium from the balloons starts to poison it. +70 Damage to the next attack.

Let me break it down for you:

Wrex is physically tough, and his body (and the rest of his people's bodies for that matter) can shut down feelings of physical trauma/pain.  His people are a warrior race introduced into the galactic equivalent of the U.N., giving him plenty of experience as a mercenary, pirate/privateer and bounty hunter.  Plus, he essentially has telekinesis and matter destroying powers in his arsenal.  And that shotgun he's holding in one hand could and probably would shatter our arms if you or I fired it.

Essentially, he could take on Master Chief any fuzzy bunny day of the week and come out with the Mjolnir mark VI helmet in hand!

I'm going to call on a few of the weapons the people from my home of StrangeReal have built over the years.

The Stonehenge turret network, designed to destroy an asteroid that would have hit the planet. All rounds fired will eventually exit the atmosphere due to the planets curvature if they do not burst midair at the target.

The Chandelier, a massive rail gun capable of shooting Stauros shells anywhere on or above the planet.

The SOLG - Strategic Orbital Linear Gun. It is an orbital weapons platform that can launch nuclear MIRV missiles capable of wiping out half of the cities of any major country.

The Aigaion. An airborne aircraft carrier capable of launching missile volleys, can hold an entire air defense squadron.

The scinfaxi and hrimfaxi ballistic missile submarines can launch burst missile salvos while submerged that basically creates a huge ball of fire and raining steel where the sky used to be.

The arkbird, a spacecraft with a laser on the bottom and on the top, can attack a target with pinpoint precision and is virtually unreachable unless changing its course.

I have more of these but I'll save them for later aliens.

The alien called in it's galactic mother ship to destroy the entire fleet besides one faulty missile that misses the alien. It does splash damage. 10 damage.
