As for my first post I decided to take a shot at this and see what I could do.  My mech kind of reminds me of an AT-ST.

I kept the code so if you guys make suggestions I might update this.

Nice tank, I'll update my last picture instead of adding it to this post to avoid cluttering this thread.  Basic upgrades include left arm gatling gun, longer legs that are more armored, and larger feet that are more realistic for holding the mech up.

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to present:

The Hyena-Chasis Mechstrider // Scout-Pattern

Mech_Hyena-Pattern_Scout.jpg

Designed for combat in arid/mountaineous situations, the "Hyena" has a strong hydraulic legmechanisms and large soleareas to move surefootedly. Note the small "claws" on both front and back of each foot. These are to enable the Mech to actually climb slopes that are complicated to maneuver on with other Mech-patterns. The engine allows for quick burstsprints to outrun more heavily armed hostiles.

The overall armament of the "Hyena" is comparatively weak: Two small-calibre MGs positioned at the cockpit's bottom front allow the Mech to quickly take down other scout vehicles as well as deal damage in vulnerable spots in an enemy-mech's outer hull. So watch out pilots - You aren't John Rambo!

We from A.C.U. Mech-Manufactories Inc. are proud to unveil our newest creation: The SI-6B multiprojectile Grenade Launcher mounted on the cockpit's right side features the possibility to load up to three (EMP, Blind and Frag) different kinds of grenade-stocks, which are of course separately stored in the back of the mech's main body. Through an accessible interface the pilot directs an inside processor A.I. to pick a respective explosive from its storage and insert it into our patented magnetic motion system, which first positions the grenade inside the barrel of the launcherdevice and later launches it in an arc toward the pinpointed target.

The SI-6B features a visual camera tool as well as windsensors which each scan and analyse the landscape and together calculate the general target area for the next shot. They then send a visual augmentation to the pilot's HUD-interface, so he may correct the launcher's arc for only the most precise shots.

As the pattern's name indicates: This is a scouting and intel vehicle. It features a longrange intercom transmitter which may easily be reconfigured to act as mid-to-longrange directional radar.

The visual camera tool of th SI-6B has been constructed to further increase the observation capacities of the "Hyena": With our technology, we enabled the camera to zoom up to 3 times of any other visual recording device available on the market and still feature a sharp and clean picture. Once again, a visual augmentation which shows the camera's field of vision is sent directly to the pilot's HUD-interface.

Alternatively, Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you the Hyena-Chasis Mech // Scavenger-Pattern:

Mech_Hyena-Pattern_Scavenger.jpg

For all of you who prefer direct firepower over reconaissance.

The Scavenger-Pattern replaces the SI-6B with a mid-ranged Kinetic Impact Railcannon. This armament allows the "Hyena" to strike with ferocious force and punch holes into solid fortifications and take out other mediumsized Mechs, thus making it perfect for quick ambushes and acts of sabotage. Beware, though! The K.I.R.C. has a tendency to overload when used too often within a short period of time, essentially damaging the sensitive small electronics inside the cockpit and possibly even melting the magnetic rails inside the device, leaving it less efficient over time.

For the careful user with a steady aim, though, this is the weapon of choice to take down those big meanies who think they can stomp our little superstar.

Thank you for your attention, we from A.C.U. Mech-Manufactories Inc. will of course return with more of our revolutionary Mech-Chasisdesigns!

A general purpose mech, this model mounts a laser blade on his right arm. It took a while to make this but it was worth it!
