Kurosawa's availability is sketchy in the midwest US, but it's pretty easy to find in any decent liquor store on the east and west coasts. I also recommend Sawanoi, if you're looking for something easy to drink with food. Any decent liquor store will usually have at least a handful of sake varieties, but I have also had decent luck with the local "international" food markets.
If you aren't sure about your tastes, I recommend finding the nearest sushi restaurant with a very boring name (most likely to have Japanese owners) and letting your server order something for you. If you like it, take the bottle with you, so you can reference the kanji characters when you're in a store.

There's 1 liquor store 15 minutes away from my place that sells Kurosawa. If you're cool with the guys at your local shop, you can ask them if they can order a specific brand of liquor. Mine doesn't ask me for a down payment but others might. Kurosawa has the right amount of subtle sweetness and strong flavor to give it a nice kick. Goes nicely with sushi but it also works well with beef.
I live in Queens, NY.

edit: try it with a slice of lemon in, then it is much MORE healthy because the lemon helps to get the antioxidants out of the green tea which keeps you away from heartattack.... maybe... no guarantea... eh... guaranty
Nowhere close to a heart attack thank goodness. I walk everyday not fat at all.

LMFAO. Oh man, I feel bad for you. Although I like green tea, the thought of ingesting one of these "health juices" (fruits+veggies mixed in a blender + other stuff) gets me a little disgusted..and because of my job, it takes a lot to get to me. Health juices....yuck.
If you want to lose weight (or if she does), just do some portion control + very mild exercise. Small meal for breakfast (toast or oatmeal), during lunch just cut down your caloric intake by 25~50%, during dinner try to eat lightly. A few low calorie snacks in between meals also helps you from chowing down on heavy meals later on and keeps your metabolism active.
Yeah I told her 15 lbs is nothing especially for a a guy like me who is not overweight anyways. I HATE healthfood stuff though only like 5% of it actually tastes ok.
