These posts are from various threads so I decided to put them into one thread for convenience. Hopefully I will remember to update this from time to time but it may be helpful only until the producer's letter comes out. Yes, I was really bored.
The Cockpit Interview
- Not happy with Sharpshooter burst.
- Producer letter very soon. Doing this list because I can.
- Refocus the social aspects closer to the devs to get better communication, ZamboniChaos.
- Advanced Battalion - Players with the ability to look at builds earlier to test, putting the finishing touches on the system within days, as early as this weekend. Helps provide feedback about balancing, bugs and data to the developers. Debating about giving notes on numbers for the weapons, etc. Small number of testers (maybe around 100). List is being generated already, limited forum conversation tied to different accounts. NDA is unconfirmed. Invites sent by E-mail.
- No flamethrowers.
- "Brand new built from scratch HUD"
- New Cockpits (replacement ones)
- No customization options on HUD, more minimalistic
- Investigating the Lag
- No date on patch, waiting on feedback of test players.
- Party System allows to group together with friends, also party matchmaking.
- Brand new user experience (includes more handholding for new users for things like Garage, Items, where things are located, more communication).
- Clan Support - Intended to come out in the patch unless they think the quality is not up to par. Clan Management in website, has Clan tags like [HWK]. Need to go through the forums to manage clans.
- EXP Overflow - Only be able to do it once the mech is leveled up (to use the extra EXP). Will be a cost (HC or MC unconfirmed)
- New Map - Last Eco (Has Foliage)
- Co-op Bot Training Mode - Destroy waves of bots with friends
- Offline Team Deathmatch with bots
- Brand New built from scratch Training Mode, adds more combat.
- Pilot Progression System, your pilot will level up with addition to your mechs.
- "Elite Skins" - Torso, full new paint job replacements.
- Tuning System - Will replace the current optimization system. Allows greater control of subclasses
- Daily Reward Bonuses
- Brand New UI and Main Menu
- Basic Oculus Rift support, separate from Triplewide Support
- Overhawl mech progression system, more options and rewards including new content.
- Matchmaking System updates, more factors into account. More advanced team balancing.
- Replacement cockpit interior, some animated items inside
- Brand New internal system. More choices (180 in the air). Removes current internals but will try to do right by the players who purchased them.
- New item slot system (less items = more power, more items = less power)
- Revised C-Class turret mode. Boost in turret mode among other things
- (Damn, your too fast Hughes)
- Another Mech. No details (the one that WAS worked on was a B class but this isn't it)
- Spectator not ready yet.
- Taken away the Map in-game (M), not in the new HUD. In the beginning stages of a good feature. On side burner.
- New systems are NOT resetting progress. NO RESETS.
- No tournament support yet.
- Still won't be able to delete mechs from garage this patch (Enjoy your seven techs)
Most played mech = CR-T, Second place = Berserker, Most bought = Rocketeer
No plans for another mech pack (like Vanguard).
"Bundles" in the coming months (maybe).
