Tbh my favorite is neon genesis evangelion. Not really mechs but you can't bust me on a technicality like that.

Omega Boost is such a cool game! My brother and I used to be a bit obsessed with it, back when the PSX was the only console we had.

Fun Fact: The mecha designs in Macross, Armored Core, and Omega Boost are all from the same awesome guy.

You guys ever check out Appleseed  EX

I love both the CG Appleseed movies, the original anime one, and the Manga. And if you like the CG Appleseed movies, you should check out Starship Troopers: Invasion. It is by the same group of people, and it is awesome. For one thing, the mobile infantry actually use power armor, unlike the live action Starship Troopers movies.
