Fairly certain that there has been discussions of bring Hawken multi-plateform ( Mac/Xbox/PS ) but the developers are currently still developing only for PC until further notice.

I'm no Mac Expert, but I believe there was a program that allows you to run Windows games on them_

I believe there were people discussing the process here on the forums, if not, just google it.

Yeah... BOOTCAMP!

But as long the game is in BETA there will no Mac version come out.

Take the League of Legends example. In Season 3 (3 years after release I guess) they released a buggy Mac version ... so be patient ... after the Hologram Screen and the eye-coordinated PC is invented, a Hawken Mac Version will be available.

Wine is a compatibility layer capable of running Windows applications on several POSIX-compliant operating systems Like Mac.
http://www.winehq.org/
I'm pretty sure Hawken works with it.

EDIT: i don't have a mac, so i dont know how well it runs.

retina macbook pro user here, running bootcamp. Not a big deal.
It's not like the 90's, were boot times allowed for the preparation of small meals.
These days - If I restart, puters ready to go before I've even got out of the chair.

I like Macs just fine, have one in the closet..umm ..hehe. No seriously it was great and still runs even though it is old as sin.

Get bootcamp. Asking Devs to port games for the mac is akin to asking that the world be covered in leather instead of just wearing a shoe. Spend the $100 or whatever since you bought a Mac and viola - play PC games via dual-boot.

3d games are not like little phone apps that you just port over quick. You are asking for a whole team to be dedicated to porting a game because users can't be bothered to set up their own box.

And this must be about the 3rd "Port to Mac" thread.

His golden what_ :)
As others said before, they are currently optimising it for Windows (do not use the term PC for it). I saw some attempts to run it from WINE under Linux, but it was quite choppy and buggy.

That's a good point. Why do I say "PC" when I mean "Box with Windows installed"_

Thanks Houruck.
