Yeh, that's kinda why I started Brawler and barely play Raider anymore.
Speed is just superior; What is more hp if it'll last one engagement, but speed lets you repair in 5 seconds.^^
Still, it's fun sometimes.
And obviously there's both sides, it's quite mesmerizing at times to stand around in a brawler, and skeetshooting lights that just can't kill you.

It is quick fire for the peekaboo thing.  I know the vulcan would do much higher dps but it overheats so quickly...  in the event I am zerking all over a c-class, I like how long I can fire before overheating...

Now I want to try the vulcan to see if I can hit and run better...

Okay, tried the vulcan...  Pretty neat on team play!  I would hate to duel w/it though.  I agree that overall the berzerker is probably over all one of the weaker mechs but it's got a place in team play like most of the mechs.  My infiltrator is my go-to a class because I REALLY like the grenade launcher.

So, I stopped watching at 4.30.  Can someone inform me if I'm missing a punch line at the end_  Because I really don't wan't to finish it.  I mean, this is a joke video right_

Now, I say this not to offend, but to simply point out some facts...

According to Alexandus, A class is OP because:

1.  It's fast.

2.  Mediocre player (Alex) can scrape by killing clearly unqualified hawken pilots with ease.


I'm not sure if I'd find more falacies in the rest of the video or not.  But here is the truth:

1.  A class is pretty dam easy to hit so long as you're a competent gamer.  Yes, it is faster than the rest (hence it's significantly lower armor), but still, not hard.

2.  No offense Alex, but your attacking tactics are elementary.  You were up against players who were jetting in the air.  Jetting in the air is the absolutly worst idea ever in hawken.  Makes them the most incredibly easy targets, honestly, in any game I've ever played.  Wait, I take that back, mech warrior had easier targets.  So here we see a video of Alex basically walking in straight lines towards his target who is jetting in the air, killing them, and only having a hair of health left.  Were a competent player in the same situation vs a jetting target, they would have only lost a hair of health, rather than only have a hair left.  Again, no offense, that's just how it works.  Lets talk about your targets a little more.  A class is OP because you can successfully use it vs terrible players_  Does this sound like a legit argument_


Like I said, I didn't finish the video, simply don't have time to bother, would rather be playing the game after posting this.  Perhaps there is a punch line at the end that I'm missing.  If so, jokes on me

Interesting you can't stand a-class while I can't stand c-class. When I play a c-class I feel I'm playing the worst version of Mech Warrior imaginable. You had a lot of armor(610) compared to my 490. I thought the whole point of the c-class is they are damage sponges. Can't a c-class with armor at max have 1200 life_

Current meta as far as I know involves high damage burst weapons and mechs with high movement speeds, EOC or Flak cannon preferable. This includes Infiltrator. Scout, Raider, Reaper, Sharp Shooter, and to a lesser extent, Brawler and Rocketeer.
