Disable Items_ Matchmaking and/or customs_ Hardcore Matchmaker_

Poll: New Matchmaking Option (12 member(s) have cast votes)

Would you support a new matchmaking mode where items were disabled_

  1. Yes (7 votes [41.18%])

    Percentage of vote: 41.18%

  2. No (1 votes [5.88%])

    Percentage of vote: 5.88%

  3. It would need to include other gameplay changes (3 votes [17.65%])

    Percentage of vote: 17.65%

  4. Make options like this for Customs, but don't make a separate Matchmaker (6 votes [35.29%])

    Percentage of vote: 35.29%

If you chose #3 or #4, what would these be_

  1. Friendly Fire (6 votes [16.22%])

  2. Disable Internals (5 votes [13.51%])

Just curious to see what others think. I personally think that custom matches should include ALL options, but I wondered if anyone else thought that incorporating some of them into a separate matchmaker could be Hawken's take on a "hardcore" gametype; thoughts_

I plan on doing some testing involving no item matches once I have the capability to do so.

so i'll be able to disable the mechs i don't like to see and the weapons i don't like to seE_

a game mode with no pred, no tech and no EOC sounds like a dream to me.

For custom games, I would love to see options like this.

Hardcore mode_ -> No items, no internals, no tunning points and only 1 Tech per team. How does that sound to you_

Edit: And no CMU (Counter-Meassure Units); of course.
