Another player said that he was able to get the extra particles by not running any FPS counters_ Are you by chance running some sort of overlay like fraps or MSI afterburner_
He even mentioned the ingame "Stat fps" command caused the particles to disappear.

A response was sent to your email address yesterday explaining that the issue had been escalated to the development team. They'll look into the issue and identify what the potential reason for the break is.
The issue itself was resolved, but not deleted.

I have recently installed Hawken on a new PC which has a Nvidia GTX770 graphics card, and running all the latest drivers. Before I played Hawken on my laptop and could run it with all the nice particle effects and Physx. However with my new desktop PC and graphics card I only seem to be getting the PhysX effects from orbs and collectors. No particles whatsoever when shooting rockets, destroying mechs etc. It runs fine, but I would still like to be able to play the game with all the particles enabled offcourse
I tried all the above mentioned steps, Physx level=2 in the .ini file.
Is this problem still being adressed by the developers_
Thanks in advance for any response!
