I just started playing Hawken and I am enjoying the rocketeer.  Before I go crazy and spend my hard earned HC I want to tap into the community to figure out the best internals.

My style of play with the rocketeer, I head out with the group and I try to find a vantage point that overlooks a good kill zone that has some cover.  I try to soften up targets for the class As and Bs to finish.  I also have a tendency to take on mechs if they get too close or sneak up on me.

All opinions are welcomed and thank you in advance!

Air compressor is highly recommended due to the high numbers in air dynamics.
Deflectors is recommended because as you will be boosting and dodging a lot.
Failsafe is good if you tend to have people pretty near to yourself.

Having these will be a good start, but it is all up to personal taste. Try out different internals if you want to change.
I`ll fix it later.

Right now I am using air compressor, fuel converter, and basic deflectors.

I fly a lot to get better angles and lock ons.
Rocketeer is much faster flying than on the ground...

Since you're mostly engaging at medium range, failsafe is kind of pointless.  If you're getting that close "you're doing it wrong" (IMO).

If you don't like flying, armor fusor might be a good one.

Fuel generator, the more people shoot you the more fuel you have to fly with, and you have giant tank.

Running directly to/from sniper fire means you'll die tired. Taking cover gives (Ke-)Sabot time to reload.
Someone elses data of Hawken gear/mechs | and another one

Taken right out of a pro's handbook.

3-slot Air Compressor
2-slot Fuel Converter
1-slot Basic Extractor

If you want to be a Professional Yolodriver just go with DETs and the rest EMPs.
