This event has been called off. This decision has been tough but in the end many different factor didn't come together to allow a smooth Tournament. Stay tuned in the following months while we regroup, reorganise and reschedule.

I did some huge efforts to make a team and get them to setup everything, and it took me some good hours to write some tips and a good plan, and then, disappointment ...

I find it weird that the low- medium tier TAW tournament is without game restrictions but the medium- high tier tournament (TPG) is with uncountable restrictions.

I believe participants of the TAW tournament are way better than the ones from TPG as they can play Hawken as it is delivered, not how they want it to be.

Correction; TPG is open for all tiers of play, and has been for over 12 years.
from lower/open to upper/invite.
Anyone saying otherwise is simply wrong.

Because low-medium tier players don't fully use the meta for every advantage they can get but rather play for fun and will use mechs considered not top tier. They can play Hawken as delivered because the way they play doesn't necessarily mean they use all of Hawken's balance and design flaws for an easier win where as in higher tier game rules account for those balance and design flaws and promote fair play with a wider variety of play styles and mech/item combinations.

It's completely understandable if you don't want to play a balanced Hawken, some people enjoy their small advantages to make up some of their shortcomings in skill.
