Hi there!

I'm Roots Rat, I'm 33 years old, I was born in beautiful Poland, but I've been living in the (slightly less beautiful, but not much) UK for over 10 years.

I currently work (enjoyably) as a software tester. In my free time I do like to keep myself busy and productive and so I have many hobbies and get involved in a lot of projects:
- mountain biking
- playing a djembe, hopefully soon in a ethno-folk band
- I am a part of an art collective Barking Man (check us out on Facebook.com/barkingmanuk), which is former Polish InvadARTs collective. We've been organising art exhibitions, installations and events in Leeds UK since 2008
- I run one of the biggest forum for Polish amateur writers and poets
- I am a moderator on Skyrim Total Enhancement Project forums
- I produce music (very amateur, but feel free to check me out at soundcloud.com/rootsrat)
- and last but not least - I play video games.

After only about 8 hrs of active gameplay (15 hrs in total), HAWKEN became one of my favourite casual games recently. I think it has a nice, balanced play, P2W model does not apply here, the matches are intense, but also can get tactical and the community seems very nice!

I do enjoy more tactical and toned game, rather than rushing in guns blazing, and so my favourite class is Sharpshooter. I have also recently tried technician and must say that I do enjoy "healer role" (so to speak) a lot.

I am a friendly person so I you ever see me online don't hesitate to say Hello!

Yeah, West Yorkshire and around is very nice! My parents just came to visit me last week and we went to York, Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. Luckily the weather was generous and we loved every minute of it! I've been around Yorkshire, but this was my parents' first visit and they really liked it.

They visited me few years ago when I was still living in Southampton, which is, to put it gently, not very presentable city, so they were amazed by Leeds and West Yorks.

They picked some really good places to go.

I love York, it's a beautiful old city, very easy to get lost if you wander away from the tourist signs, but some of the most fascinating places are in the old cobbled side streets.
Some really good museums there, the Castle museum has re-created a whole Victorian street, the Jorvik Museum has re-created a whole Viking village, and if you like trains, the National Railway Museum has dozens of steam trains engines (and a Japanese bullet train too).

Good luck with Hawken it's a great game, your welcome to send me a friend request in game   Kazuya989 and Ninja_Goat  are my 2 accounts. I am around most nights with my clan mates (even have one from Poland).

See you on the Battlefield

It was actually me who planned the trip :) I've been to Jorvik and Westminster before, but not to the other places you've mentioned, guess it's something to visit next time I'm in York :)

Cool, I'll send you an invite, always fun to team up. What clan are you in_ I will be looking to join one possibly. Whilst I play H casually, I do prefer more thought out, tactical games, and most of the times that's not possible with random players...

Herro!  Welcome to Hawken!  I hope I see you move from casual to hardcore and become a mindless(-ish) zombie pilot like the rest of us! One of us.... one of us... one of us... *GLOMP*

Welcome, and great intro, by the way!

I'd strongly encourage you to start playing with an organized group - my experience has improved dramatically since joining up with TAW :D
