New player here, I really like the bits of lore that are added to each item. Makes the world seem more real, because it's the little things that count.

I think I remember seeing someone mention that patches require overwriting the entire module of the game engine that the patch applies to. So even a small 300kb change might need to have a half-gig update. While this iis a bit unfortunate for people with internet caps or worrying about the download itself, it's not a burden on people worrying about hard drive space. Remember, it overwrites, it doesn't increase Hawken's size. I was worried with my petite hard drive and all the updates that Hawken would fill it in no time, but it's fine ^_^
