When attempting to join games through server browser, I have often experienced this bug.
After an unusually long pause, the error message starts with "The server is not accepting connections at this time" (or some variation of this language" and ends with "Slot reservation failed: error 931D9C29".
When trying to connect through quicklaunch, no screen output is available; it simply bumps out of queue.

This error will repeat for sometimes 5 minutes at a time on every server attempted, on any gametype until I give up. Finally, when the error "Error, disconnected from host" appears on the home screen, re-connecting will sometimes work again.
Sometimes restarting the game will also work.

Steps to reproduce: Attempt to connect to game server via server browser (or quicklaunch to get bumped out of queue-- no error message).
Frequency: Random. Sometimes 20 times in a row on some days, other days never.
Severity: 1
System: Intel 3570k
16 GB RAM
GeForce 560ti
Verizon FiOS router
Server: all, U.S.E.
Time: most recently June 3, 10:30pm

Possible fix:

Have you forwarded the Hawken ports_ For the majority of players, the client will work fine without the ports open. However, that can cause issues similar to this one.
