Hey all!

I am unable to launch Hawken on Windows 8. After I hit "Launch" on the Launcher, it brings up this error dialog:

EDIT:
Fixed the issue by booting into safemode and renaming d3d9.dll to d3d9OLD.dll.


If I close the launcher after this happens, I get this popup in the taskbar:

EDIT:
I booted to safe mode and renamed D3D9.dll in C:WindowsSystem32 to D3D9OLD.dll, and I was able to launch Hawken. o_O

EDIT2:
And it stopped working again. T_T


EDIT3:
Doing a clean re-install (of Windows 8) has solved the issue. Looks like the W7 to W8 upgrade process didn't go as smoothly as I thought.

Not need it
Windows 8 use DirectX 11 but you need update latest version of Microsoft DirectX runtime (download dxwebsetup.exe)
Maybe download file with 95Mb and update many file .dll
All ok with me when i update DirectX
