Hello, so I just downloaded Hawken. I log in and dowload the patches and what not. I hit launch and I get this error: (http://i.imgur.com/5Paw3.png)

I've googled how to fix it and, the only thing I can find is some .dll fixer which isn't free. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or knows how to fix it. All suggestions are wanted!

If the dll happen to get corrupted then you need a fresher copy of the file. What you want to do is download the DirectX Redistributable located here: http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx_id=8109

From there have the program extract you the cab files in a place where you can find it. Locate the cab file called Jun2010_D3DCompiler_43_x64 or Jun2010_D3DCompiler_43_x86 depending if your system is a 32-bit or 64-bit platform and open it. From there you should see the d3dcompiler_43.dll and just drag and drop the file in the c:windowssystem32 folder.
