I alt-tabbed briefly and was unable to click anything on screen when I went back in. The mouse would move and I would be able to click things in other programs just not hawken. Exited the game and went back in and everything was fine.

I also have experienced this bug two or three times - I think it happened to me when the game switched back into the respawn view, but to be honest, I can't remember exactly. I know I had alt-tabbed a few times during my playing but I don't recall that causing me to immediately lose the ability to left-click.  Once I was able to get left-mouse-click to work again by plugging in a second USB mouse, but another time that didn't work.

alt-tabbing out of a game that isn't meant to be alt-tabbed out of generally causes instability issues. They seriously need to fix the fullscreen borderless function.
