We don't know. The devs haven't said much about CBT2 yet. It's less likely than the requirement between the Alpha 2 client and the current CB client, because the interface was completely overhauled between those two versions. However, it's entirely possible.

Will those of us who got into CBT1 be automatically signed up for the CBT2 or do we have to again hunt down for "keys"_

if you entered CBT1, you are automatically flagged for every CBT event thereafter.

guess its just like alpha 2 where i asked the question & mods never bothered to answer till it was almost time for cbt they made a topic about it ~_~

They might not actually know, yet, if they're going to have to give you a completely new package or if you'll be able to just upgrade individual files.

I'm quite certain you will, and why does it matter anyway_ If you do have to download a new client, that's... all there is to it.

If you've got limited bandwidth allocation or something, just assume that you do, and if it turns out not to be the case, go nuts on video streaming for a night or two to keep you busy when the next beta test period ends and you can't blow the ears off of the fuzzy bunnies in Hawken again.

I'm not uninstalling. In my opinion (based strictly on my opinion) a Beta 2 will only add a patch to the current client.

I don't think they're avoiding this.

I think they're busy working on CBT2 and don't have time to answer every question in the forums.

This leads me to the question that I still haven't found an answer to.
