A coagulated, gloomy thinking in the intelligence, as my major ego.
An antinomian theorem of behaviorism, in all of my thinkings.
It's what we call "The Inversion Impulse."

Let's take the Brawler as an example, and assume he's got Flak and the Vulcan (and obviously the TOW). He can tick people with the flak from a distance, and then if he's going to close in, switch to the Vulcan for a very slight penalty in time needed to switch.
Too versatile, pure and simple.

i don't mean hot switching, i mean if it took the same amount of time as say, fully repairing your mech also being stationary non combat, which is possibly the same amount of time it would take somebody to die and boost back into the fray

The whole idea is that, from an in-universe POV, these mechs are loaded and equipped in the garage. Once they go out, they go out, like in Armored Core or pretty much any other mech-like game, and their loadouts are fixed until you "return." That's why you can swap at a respawn, but not in-match.
The only way I could see it working is if they add a "Garage" spot deep inside the base, and obviously you could go there to re-enter the garage and swap out, but doing it anywhere else in the map, even with a time delay, is a bit too much, and even if it were used, 100% immobile and unable to get out of it would just lead to players getting killed and very few people making use of it.
