I sent a message to the meteor site and nothing. Why can't I download the game_ When I log in the website it doesnt say im banned or a email saying I was. whats going on can someone help please_

I read where people from closed beta 1 were able to play through the entire thing. So yeah I did read around.

How about "Sorry, this game has a required I.Q. Test for participation, you have failed the test.  Please try again in two weeks"

That thread tells you the exact amount of time that CBE1 was scheduled to last.

My first reply may have been harsh, but I feel the second one was deserved.
I don't see how he can claim that he looked around and found nothing when it took me less than 5 minutes to find all those threads and check them to see if they had relevant information.

Guys, I know it's annoying, but seriously... please don't insult the newbies. This is just reflecting more and more poorly on the community that we're trying to build here.

All that needs to be said is that the beta is not available 24/7, and is restricted to only being playable during the listed event hours. Also that there is no announced date for the second event start date/time yet, so they need to sit and wait for the next email, and actually play during the announced event schedule.

Really, there's no reason to be jerks, even if it gets annoying to have it asked thirty times by people who don't bother to read any of the other 'why can't I play_!' threads already on the front page.

The last few times that threads like this one appeared I went and searched for the answers to OP’s questions using the search bar. Often times these answers are buried deep within threads that are titled in a way that makes their contents seem irrelevant or easy to skim over, so I can at least partially sympathise with the perpetual asking of already answered questions.

I would imagine it sucks to then create a thread asking a question, only to attract the forum executives, primed with rolling eyes and yawning comments, who must appear to exist only to illustrate the way the Tetris pieces of OPs lack of research are slowly falling into place, and they are spelling, “MAKE IT STOP!” The moaning roll call of snark that these threads elicit generally contributes little more than a vibe of negativity and does nothing to plug the flow of future “blah” threads. A simple “the first closed beta has finished” or “you’re not banned” would suffice. Friendly indifference works too.

Anyway, it might be time for someone to start a thread titled, “Closed Beta Event 1 (CBE1) has ended, and other SEO friendly keywords,” or something like that.

I get the feeling that a lot of these "blah" posters are searching for a topic addressing their query, not seeing a title closely resembling their questions and abandoning the search there. Trying to determine some of the threads tying these frequently and repeatedly asked questions together might elicit a few points that could be briefly summarised in a topic title, hopefully stemming further blah contributions. This suggestion is flawed, obviously, being dependent on a number of whispy assumptions, but nevertheless seems to help address one of the root causes of a blah posters fleeting investigatory willpower, namely the fact that answers weren't easily or readily available.

Identify "blah topic", briefly point OP in the right direction if you're able and willing, and if not, ignore and move on.

I won't name the poster for their own privacy, but I actually had a thread on here where the poster asked the usual question (why can't I play after CBT1 ended, basically), and I answered him. Then another thread went up 6 hours later asking the same question.

So... didn't even read the answer he asked for the first time. Needs to be a sticky in all caps or something.
