I just downloaded the newest beta build, and when I go to log in and launch the game, I'm unable to because it gives me the message saying "unable to determine the current version". Anyone else had this_

I get that as well. No idea how to fix it. Maybe thier servers are down.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. They did go live today, correct_

EDIT: Double check that you have uninstalled any previous version of the game. I was 100% sure I uninstalled the Alpha build but I guess not.

Ohhhhhhh, then that's definetley my problem !

Yes, even though the beta invite email said you don't need to, you have to completely delete all current Hawken installs and download the new one from the site.

Not true: If you were in CBE1, you can straight-up patch.

If your install is from Alpha 2, though, you do need to uninstall it before installing CBE2.
