this was my favourite game for the system and this is reminding me of it a little,
Also it would be cool if they made a similarity to it. So like they could have mechs around the map unoccupied so if yours was busted up you could get out and jetpack to it and hop in it, but whilst out u are very vulnerable, weaker and slower than people in mechs.
So if any of you have a snes emulator then I highly recommend checking this game out its brilliant. Both campaign and multiplayer are a blast.
^ theres a youtube vid of multiplayer for reference

:*) you've reminded me of one of my favorite games on the snes... still own it shame my snes doesn't work... It would be interesting to see people get out, but the diversity of weapon choice, and body type make me think it would just be better to have a selection screen.

Cybernator: Plays similar to metal warriors and is a great action mech game. Though it can be really tough if you don't use the secret weapons in the game.
Front Mission: A mech tactics RPG that plays like Final Fantasy Tactics but with limb damage. It was fan translated to english a while back. Here's the link below.

Front Mission Gun Hazard: Plays like Metal Warriors and Cybernator but has the RPG elements of the Front Mission series. You can change out your parts, weapon load-outs and gain experience. This one was also fan translated to english. Link below.

Thanks for the translation links, translated games is one of the few ways to tell if a game is good.

The Genesis also has a good mech game called Ranger-X (Ex-Ranzer in Japan).
