For those wondering, that's the explanation for the slooow camera movement when you move your mouse fast.
When you move your mouse slowly though, then the camera movement is much faster.
Indeed, that doesn't make sense.
Yes, it's been there since alpha.
Yup, I consider that as a bug (I can't wrap my head around it being developed that way on purpose).

Have you tried changing your Mouse Smoothing & Sensitivity to see if this affects it_ Invert mouse settings_

It's not just about me, but no, that doesn't change anything.
The sensitivity settings only modifies the ingame sensitivity below some acceleration threshold.
Whenever you hit that threshold, you get that sensitivity limitation (which seems to always be the same, regardless of sensitivity settings).

Oh that, I was wondering about that. Very annoying. I figured it was some kind of game mechanical thing though (limited turn rate of mech)

It might be, but since the devs are yet to communicate on that matter, it's everyone's guess.
