I'd like the ability to save different variants of the same mech. When I play a Brawler in DM, my play style is completely different from when I play it in Siege mode, and it would be awfully convenient to be able to have a variant with the extra EU tanks (for example) that I can choose during siege mode without having to respec the whole mech.

Food for thought. I'd be willing to pay HP or MP to get extra loadouts.

If I had to guess, I'd say that's probably what the devs would prefer (more stuff to spend points on). At the very least, I'd expect loadout "pages" to have to be unlocked, if such things were to be introduced.

You might well be right.  LoL does the same thing with its Rune pages.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. LoL did a lot of things right- there's no shame in emulating bits relevant to this game.

Yeah, the ability to swap some optimizations before battle would be beneficial - that way I don't have to go to the garage each time a new map loads. Even different maps require different strategy, so I will change up things on my mech after one match is done and I readied for the next.

TF2 has its loadout pages (multiple gear sets). Magic: The Gathering has the 15-card sideboard (effectively 25% of the deck in supplemental cards for swapping in between rounds in best-of-three tournament matches). Even if you couldn't edit layouts during the match, it'd be great if you could switch between two or three layouts in gear for a mech. I would not even grumble if you had to pay Meteor Points to unlock a third or fourth layout tab (but please at least give us two).
