.Or imagine you may pick up in the settings how the skin of your mecha will look down there on the battlefield. I'd pick up a rusty and oxidized skin for my mecha ATM!. No idea on splats but I'd pick some cool one as well.

Imagine you have a text field in the config settings in which you can type in your 3 clan alphanumeric characters. This way your clan tag might be rendered in-game, for example, on the back of your mecha and shown to entire the Hawken World. Ain't it cool_ .
Or imagine you may pick up in the settings how the skin of your mecha will look down there on the battlefield. I'd pick up a rusty and oxidized skin for my mecha ATM!. No idea on splats but I'd pick some cool one as well.

but yeah, if they can find a place to put a clan tag that looked like it fits I wouldn't be against it.
