Is there textual list somewhere of the order in which you have to purchase Mechs(HC) for the PS4.

For example you can't buy the brawler until you buy an assault.  Is there a whole list written out?

It is listed on the prompt when you go to purchase a Mech. It's basically the adjacent mechs that you'll need. In the case of G2s, you need max rank with the G1s to purchase them with HC. MC purchases are always available.
