I've noticed that some graphics settings will not save if applied in game or hangar. I'm specifically referring to DOF and Ambient Occlusion but have also noticed some other weird things happening.

So if I'm in-game and press Esc to change advanced settings, it will let me apply them, and Yes/No whether I want to keep. I click Yes and then go back into game. Nothing has changed, then when I go back to the settings menu they are unchecked like before.

If they can't be changed once the level has been loaded it shouldn't let you change the settings once in-game.

Also, can we have some explanation about Low, Med, High, Ultra graphics settings_ If we tweak the advanced settings does that just mean the "graphics" setting is irrelevant_ When changing between graphics settings I notice that it doesn't change the advanced settings until you save, exit the program and restart.

I'm just trying to tweak to get the right balance between looks and FPS and finding this a bit frustrating. However when I went to High graphics I noticed a marked graphical improvement over Medium and Low.

Yes of course I hit apply - (obviously not so much for Magiq). However, try it for yourself!!!!! Change MLAA or Ambient Occlusion. Apply. Reopen settings - your changes have been saved (or so it appears), restart Hawken - back to default for your H/M/L master graphics setting.

hmm, try this though, go to [hawken install directory]HawkenInstalledHawkenFiles

and go through the default graphics config files and set it there.
