I had an idea earlier today in regards to unbalanced teams, steamrolling, and rage quitting:

Part of the problem with Hawken now is it is just too darn easy for one side to grab the advantage and run with it, and once that happens you just can't claw your way back.  Part of that is skilled players, part of it is new players still learning the ropes, and at this point there are still a lot of known unknowns.

What if instead of desperately hoping more skilled players jump into a losing game and stay, the game began to subtly auto-balance during play_

All mechs on the same team within 35' of each other gain +1% heat generation.
Teams with 1000 less EU collection gain +2% walking speed and boost.
Teams with 15 fewer kills overall gain +1% damage and +1% firing rate (or +150 armor).
Teams with a base health differential of 800 or more double missile damage.
