Rocketeer is noob friendly, but becomes overpowered when used correctly and skillfully.

Rocketeer dominates the middle-range battle across open ground as long as you can aim at people. The Seeker is almost too powerful.

However, you need to learn how to move and fight in Hawken, because it requires different strategies.

The keybindings for chat are in the options menu, under Key Bindings. The bindings are labeled "Talk in Chat (All Players)" (default: T) and "Team Chat" (default: Y). They should be the bottom options visible in the list when you first pull it up without scrolling down. (There are six more below, but they only appear when you scroll down because they're cut off, otherwise.)

in last closed beta test i got 1st place in the 32 vs 32 servers on my team using rocketeer

i call the rocketeer only usefull around other mechs that will support you in combat. doing anything in this game solo is suicide. mostly especially for the rocketeer

Changed my Lvl 8 Rocketeer to the  default Assualt Mech and off the bat i was getting Kills easy and i Cursed myself or rather kicked myself for wasting so much time and effort leveling this junk called Rocketer Mech and buying upgrades.

Now i am using this assult Mech and it suits my playstyle - it may not pack a punch but it can dish out fast serious damage .

So yea From what i can say the meavy mech sucks big time and gets the thumbs down from me.

also when using seeker missiles make sure your aiming your aim thing on the mech your shooting at and the missiles lock onto the mech instantly
with the barrage missile thingy majigy use the mouse wheel click and it locks that way
