So... yeah, I recently decided to participate in the closed BETA and I have yet to be able to play a single match.
I'm in US EAST TZ but I've tried joining games of all types in all TZs and... there's nobody ever online.
I've tried all hours of the day, and both weekend and weekdays, and yet I have no luck in finding anyone to play with.
I've participated in countless closed (and open) BETAs over the course of the past ten years, and I'm pretty surprised that HAWKEN is plagued with such lack of participation during this stage of closed BETA... I mean, aren't you guys going to open this BETA up relatively soon_
Where is everybody_ I'd really like to actually shoot things.

Played several games in US East and West tonight...
Don't know what to tell you beyond trying to stay in an empty lobby, sometimes it just fills up.
Have to admit though, i spent a good 20-30 minutes over the course of tonight to find the games i played in.

I've stopped. If I don't see a friends list person on or get into a game after three attepts I go play something else.

this is mostly because the match-making engine isn't finished. I've been dropped into countless empty servers now.. I usually wait until friends/clan members sign in and we try to get a game going.

Yeah, the all-matchmaking, no-server-browser stuff is most of the cause of this. Admittedly, it's why we're testing it - so the public don't have to.

I haven't had any issues with the MM engine this week, or last. Maybe you're just not a bad enough dude to rescue the president.
