Pretty good stuff!

Keep practicing, I'm sure you'll end up liking drawing as opposed to dragging your mouse to draw.

some good stuff, the coloring in the last image is great (lot better than mine :D)

as for mech(a)s, may i recomend bying a mech/robot artbook or two.
not only for insiration, but also for tutorials, tips and tricks. also get some references (photos) of real-life machinery to get a feel for metal and shapes.

looks promising, keep on drawing

Lol I know, but its kind of hard and more time consuming to use MS paint isn't it_ xD
I wasn't asking believing that simply changing what program I use would Significantly change my art. I'm simply curious about the preference of what others use.

Ho boy...Photoshop is so sophisticated for me though lol
Got any pro tips other then Google being my best friend lol_

google is ur friend and i already suggested the program that I use.

EDIT: if photoshop is not ur liking then u can always give sai a try and its user friendly and easy to navigate.

its 5200 yen if u buy it which is equivalent to $50 usd

bit of a update of my character that I'm making and a car

I'm afraid, but several of your images posted on page 1 and 2 are not displayed well.

Edit: Now they are.. :)

been ages since I last updated, here is some recent work I been doing lately and almost near graduation in 2 months.

A test render
I'm sick of this piece and just want to get it done so I don't hav to look at it anymore and its gonna be one of the piece in my final reel.

this went good but had one big issue with the ears been sunken in the head wen its supposed to be coming out wards wen u look at orthographically so I gotta resculpt work that was lost. Body geo is almost done for the base.

One of my only 3d works that I'm actually sorta of proud of even tho I didn't get to get more work done on it.
