Played one round and it was really cool.

Backed out of the match and got stuck on syncing account.

Closed the client and opened it up again, still stuck on Syncing Account screen right after logging in.

What do_

Seems to be a problem. I've had it too. Maybe overloaded account servers_ I'm off to bed, then a long day at work. Might have an hour to play tomorrow evening. Hopefully there will be a fix by then.

I stayed until the music looped for the second time. Then I quit and retried.

This time I went on youtube to spend the time while it synced. After 5 minutes I alt-tabbed back and I could finally play.

PS: Nice music choice for the menu!

Maybe because I just created my account today_

At any rate, I will try periodically and see what happens. it's all part of the beta process

Update...it just worked. so I suggest trying, giving it a minute, than restarting the game and trying again. Just repeat until it works.

Sync time is absurdly long, yeah.

So, I was able to play the training mission, then it went back to syncing account. I find if I just keep retrying, I eventually get in. I assume it's just server overload_

Here I come to spam this topic again...
I can get in and play the training missions now, but Matchmaking doesn't work. Get a message saying "could not find any servers matching the request" I've tried both the US west and east servers.

i have been having the same problem with the account syncing. however i dont understand the need to resync after i have done the tutorial and i assume probably after every game... was the first sync not good enough_ i do agree its probably server overload but you would think by now seeing as how this has happened on basically every open beta for any game ever that game developers would just asssume it was going to happen and have extra servers in advance. that way the endless wait would never happen and you would instantly become the most loved game developer in the world for thinking ahead. at least its worth the wait the game is pretty neat from the 5 minutes ive been able to play so far.

I had no problems playing my first round of matchmaking(and i've gotta say that is one hell of sweet game), even tho it was a little laggy, but i believe it's because of crappy pc, but i also got stuck on syncing account when i went to find another game. Gonna go and retry to play a little bit.

yes its really getting on my nerve, i got to restart the game everytime it happens, its like a 50%chance i can get stuck on sync

Did you guys noticed if you go to your game installation directory .../Hawken/InstalledHawkenFiles/Binaries/Win32 and run the HawkenGame-Win32-Shipping (thus avoiding the launcher and login) Hawken will start and automaticlly login into your acc without acquiring password_ Or this just happens to me_ This is a serious security problem I think.
