Word of mouth, actually! My friend at uni told me and some others about a new mech game and I took a look, now looking at new graphics cards and joystick setups.
So some of us are going to have regular LAN parties naow once the beta comes out...

I am a fan of Dodger on youtube and she was talking about Hawken. I played Starsiege back in the day, and some Mechwarrior and Armored Core. I think this looks pretty stylish and true to what Mechs should be.

I was looking up project offset because I wondered if it had made any progress, and interview about how it got shut down led me here...

Was actually doing some research on the game play for Armored Core V. Haven't been sold on it yet - obviously, still have to play it. Somewhere in it all I heard about Hawken, googled, and here we are.

i seached indie games on Google and found it i have always been a mech fan i have all of the armored core games for PlayStation 2 and i always wanted more stratagy with out giving up the FPS like elements i hope they do that well
